水元公園は、963,630m2の面積をもつ東京23区で最大規模の水郷公園です。小合溜から引かれた大小の水路が園内を走っています。水域の近くでよく育つポプラ、メタセコイア、アルダーなどの木が植えられています。アヤメ、スイレン、牛ユリなどの水生植物もたくさん見られます。また、芝生広場、水生植物園、花菖蒲園、バードサンクチュアリー、ドッグラン、野外ステージ、キャンプ広場、バーベキュー広場などの施設があります。
