この水盤は、底部は土に埋まっていますが、底辺が水平の古式形です。正面には、延宝5年(1677)の銘があります。

This basin is an old style whose base is horizontal though the bottom of this basin is buried in the soil. In the front, there is an inscription of Enpo 5 (1677).
