株式会社セキグチの工場跡地には、昭和55(1980)から平成22年(2010)まで、セキグチが製造したセルロイド人形や玩具の数々を展示したセキグチ・ドールハウスがありました。展示館が閉館となり、その跡地に平成28年(2016)に作られたのがモンチッチ公園です。園内のいたるところにモンチッチが描かれています。

A former factory site of Sekiguchi Inc., there was the Sekiguchi Dollhouse that exhibited a number of celluloid dolls and toys manufactured by Sekiguchi Inc. from 1980 to 2010. The the Sekiguchi Dollhouse was closed, and Monchhichi Park was built on that site in 2016. So many Monchhichis are drawn everywhere in the park.
