東條一堂は江戸時代後期の儒学者です。彼は安政4年(1857)に80歳で亡くなりました。彼のお墓は墨田区の妙源寺にありましたが、大正12年(1923)の関東大震災でお寺が罹災し、現在の場所に移転したのと一緒に移されました。

Tojo Ichido is a confucian in the late Edo period. He passed away at the age of 80 in Ansei 4 (1857). His grave was in Myogen-ji in Sumida-ku, but that temple suffered from the Great Kanto Earthquake of Taisho 12 (1923) and was moved here, and his grave also was moved this place together.
