宝篋印塔には天明7年(1787)の造立銘がありますが、安政2年(1855)10月2日夜の安政江戸地震で損傷し、安政3年に修復されたことが追刻されています。この宝篋印塔は全体に造立時の姿がよく保たれており、最上部の瘡蓋や四隅の鈴鐸を下げた孔が残っています。

This Hokyointo Pagoda engraved the date of the construction Tenmei 7 (1787), but it was damaged by Ansei Edo earthquake in Ansei 2 (1855), so it was restored in Ansei 3 (1788). The appearance is kept well at the time of its establishment, such as the top scab and hole of bell at the four corners.
