Kazuo Hanada was born in 1904 in Buzen, Fukuoka. He didn't get any formal art or sculptural education, and it was thought that he had trained at a long-established doll studio to improve his skills. But his history before his debut after mid 30's is veiled in mystery. This work was produced in 1962 and was set in front of the Katsushika City Office Building, and relocated here in 1984.
