Biography in English
In 1998, he was awarded the Ivan Goran Kovačić Prize for young poets for his poetry collection Južni križ [The Southern Cross]. Since then, he has published a number of poetry and prose books, among which were the followowing: Dva svijeta i jos jedan [Two worlds and one more], travel narrative (2007), Ana i vila Velebita [Ana and the Velebita Fairy], poetry, (2008) and Zrak ispod mora [Air under the Sea] poetry, (2009), which was awarded the Dobriša Cesarić Poetry Prize.
Translated imto a dozen of languages, among which, English, his work has been published in a number of anthologies and literary journals at home and abroad.

Tomica BAJSIĆ, is an author from Zagreb, current secretary of the Croatian Pen Club Centre. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Croatia, and worked in restoration, drawing and design. Editor for translated poetry in POEZIJA / Poetry quarterly magazine, he was also the founder of Druga priča /Another Story publishing house.
