Biography in English
Matthew Geden is a poet and translator. He was born and brought up in the Midlands of England, moving to Kinsale, Ireland in 1990. In 2017 he founded Kinsale Writing School and teaches creative writing to adults, teenagers and children. He is also a reviewer, translator and organiser of various literary events.
His poetry collections include Swimming to Albania published by Bradshaw Books in 2009 and The Place Inside published by Dedalus Press in 2012. A small collection of translations from the French of Guillaume Apollinaire, Autumn, came out with Lapwing in 2003.
