Lluís-Xavier Flores Abat (Alacant/Aicante, 1975). He has a degree in Catalan Philology (University of Alicante) and possesses the Diploma of Specialization in Aragonese Philology (University of Zaragoza) as well as a Master in Management of Cultural Heritage and Museology (University of Barcelona). He taught Catalan language and culture at the University of Kent at Canterbury (United Kingdom) and at the University Miguel Hernández of Elche and, since 2015 until 2020, taught Aragonese at the Centro Aragonés de Barcelona (CAB). He is the author of a short story in Benasquese (titled Amargor) but, above all, he writes research articles on Aragonese language and literature, specifically related to dialectical standardization and ethno-literacy. He collaborates with Xordica (publishing house) in the revision of literary texts in Aragonese. He was a member of the Sociedat de Lingüistica Aragonesa, and currently of the cultural association Petarruego, formed by the Aragonese language teachers of the CAB.
