Biography in English

Hélène Beaulieu is a translator from Quebec. With a Degree in Translation as well as in Physics, she also possesses a Master's Degree in Linguistics from the Laval University in Quebec. She has collaborated with Catalan linguist Joan Solà to the collective work Sobre Lexicografia catalana actual (Joan Solà (ed.), 1992), and some years later with Occitan linguist André Lagarde to his Dictionnaire Occitan-Français, Français-Occitan (1996).

From 2002 until 2021, she worked as a translator-reviser for the Organization of American States (OAS), in Washington. In Spring 2021 she left her job to finish up her Doctorate in Spanish at the University of Salamanca. Member of the LabLit Team since 2008, she has parallely been translating juvenile fiction with scientific content into French since then.

She joined the Multiple Versions Project in 2013.
