Luo Qingchun (Aku Wuwu), PhD., professor and doctoral supervisor. Currently, he is a professor at the School of Chinese Language and Literature, Southwest Minzu University, P. R. China, and holds positions as the vice chair of the Sichuan Provincial Association of Literary Critics, the vice president of the Sichuan Comparative Literature Association, and is an adjunct professor at Sichuan University and The Ohio State University, the USA.
Dr. Luo Qingchun has long been engaged in the teaching and research of Chinese ethnic languages and literatures, and the culture and literature of the Yi people. He has published over 20 books and over 70 academic papers at home and abroad. In his spare time, he engages in Yi and Han Chinese bilingual literary creations. His works have been included in Yi language textbooks for primary and secondary schools and universities in Sichuan Province, and some of his works have been translated into English, Japanese, French, Russian, Macedonian, and other languages and disseminated abroad.
Dr. Luo Qingchun has been invited to visit and give lectures at some world-renowned universities such as The Ohio State University, The University of Washington in Seattle, The Australian National University, Keio University, and Waseda University in Japan, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Minzu University of China, and Tongji University in Shanghai. In 2019, he was invited to give a speech at Harvard University in the USA.
He joined the Multiple Versions Project in 2025 on the event of the exhibition on the Nuosu Culture that the Library of The Humanities dedicated to the photographs by Buhamo Budi.
