The Most interesting thing about climate change is how it effect us in different ways. Like diseases and getting sick. It also effects our food crops and transportation.

Climate change in Philadelphia has been a power struggle for everybody in Philadelphia. People in Philadelphia has suffered a lot, especially in heat. The Philadelphia playbook gave an interesting fact that had occurred in Philadelphia about the residents in Philly dealing with heat.

“residents in the city have noticed our summers getting hotter. In the 1900's we had an average of four days above 95°F annually. By 2100, that number could reach up to 52 days”

That's not the only thing that impacts Philadelphia in climate change. Also, the cold and the sea level rising isn't the only issue in Philadelphia that has been affecting us here in Philadelphia. The sea rising level in Philadelphia could really affect the citizens of Philly. One article says that by 2100 Philadelphia area waters could rise 19 inches by 2050. Affecting almost 2000 homes and 3200 citizens.

“Climate Central previously estimated that Philadelphia area waters could rise 19 inches by 2050, and 4 feet or more by 2100, putting nearly 2,000 homes and 3,200 people in Philadelphia at risk.” and

“Overall, Philadelphia has a moderate risk of flooding over the next 30 years, which means flooding is likely to impact day-to-day life within the community. This is based on the level of risk the properties face rather than the proportion of properties with risk.”

Hopefully, Climate Change in Philadelphia wouldn't be a problem in the future. Let's help keep our city clean!!!
