Philadelphia High School creates new policy in light of recent school shootings, arms every student and teacher with rifles

Local North Philadelphia Magnet school George Washington Carver High School of Engineering and Science becomes the first ever school in Pennsylvania to arm all 900 students with firearms of their own choice due to recent limelight of school shootings. Students are able to choose whether they want a pistol or rifle through grade levels. Middle schoolers are able to have a variety of pistols, and high schoolers are able to choose between a range of rifles or rocket launchers for honor roll students.
