The Carver Boys Volleyball team recently held this years Boys Volleyball tryouts, giving Carver students the ability to showcase their athletic abilities.
The Carver Chinese class came together for Lunar New Years to celebrate the year of the horse. They collaborated on making dumplings and Chinese artwork to showcase the traditions of the country.
Dumplings are so important to the Lunar New Year because it symbolizes the culture, wealth, prosperity, and family unity.

(10/24) - Cross Country competes for district championship. The boys placed 3rd overall & 1st public school team while the girls placed 5th overall & 2nd public school team

(10/10) - Cross Country runs in the first round of championships with students Andrew Drumwright, Meless Badume, & Aaron Drumwright placing 1st, 2nd, & 3rd respectively
(10/11) - One Book, One E&S school-wide discussion project on TED Talk ¨We Should All Be Feminists¨ by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie
On Thursday, September 26th, Carver HSES was honored as one of 362 schools in the nation who received the National Blue Ribbon Award. Students celebrated this accomplishment with an assembly featuring The Carver Choir, The Enginettes, student speakers (Ajza Shields and Aziz McDaniels), and guests from the School District of Philadelphia.
