School Office Assistant - 10 Month

Salary Range:             $12.72 - $20.35 per hour

        

Job Summary

To assist in the operation of the school office in such a way as to ensure the office’s

best possible impact on the public and its smooth operation for the benefit of its educational impact.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

·         At least 21 years of age

        Possess a GED, high school diploma, or higher

        Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills

•     Proficient in computer use

•     Able to multi-task

•     Able to maintain a positive demeanor on the telephone and in the front office

      Detail oriented and maintain confidentiality

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, kneel, crouch, and talk or hear.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Terms of Employment

This position is a 10 month (210 day) position.  Salary to be established by the school board.

 

Evaluation

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with School Board’s policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of classified personnel.
