Instructional Technology Administrator
Title: Instructional Technology Administrator (Instructional Technology and Blended Learning)
Primary Function:
Lead teachers as we build and maintain blended learning environments with high quality, equitable, and accessible learning experiences. Establish and sustain meaningful relationships with teachers and ITRTs so they are supported and prepared to innovate, facilitate technology rich instruction, and grow professionally.
Qualifications:
Hold a postgraduate professional license with administrative endorsement..
At least three (3) years of successful, full-time experience as a teacher.
Proficiency with current instructional technology platforms.
Experience in creating, managing, and delivering on-line learning.
Have demonstrated the leadership qualities and personal characteristics necessary for working effectively with students, teachers, parents and other administrators.

Director of Technology Services
Performance Responsibilities:
Research, maintain expertise, and lead professional learning that supports high quality instructional strategies for virtual and blended learning environments to provide students the skills they need to be able to think computationally, creatively, and critically in an increasingly digital society
Analyze blended learning data and make adjustments to instruction and procedures to best meet the needs of all learners in all environments
Develop, deliver and facilitate high quality professional development based on needs determined through analysis of data at the school, working with teachers (in teams or individually) to refine their knowledge and skills and meet identified instructional technology needs
Work with teachers in the implementation of instruction that develops problem solving and higher-order thinking skills, and deeper learning/profile of a FCPS student forward
Collaborate with administrators and teachers to support professional learning, deeper learning, technology integration, and blended learning
Oversee Instructional Technology Resource Teachers and evaluate the effectiveness of this support role
Oversee Library Media Teachers and develop a continuous improvement plan
Perform other duties as directed by the school division’s Technology Director.
Terms of Employment:
Twelve month year. Salary to be established by the board. Currently a grant funded position and is subject to continued funding.
Evaluation:
Performance on this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the board’s policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of administrative personnel.
