Salary Range: $14.29 - $22.87 per hour
Primary Function: To assist in the operation of the school office in such a way as to ensure the office’s best possible impact on the public and its smooth operation for the benefit of its educational impact.
Qualifications:
• At least 21 years of age
• Possess a GED, high school diploma, or higher
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proficient in computer use
• Able to multi-task
• Able to maintain a positive demeanor on the telephone and in the office
• Detail oriented and maintain confidentiality
Reports to: School Principal
Performance Responsibilities:
• Answer telephone in a friendly, courteous manner and route incoming calls as needed
• Greet visitors in a friendly courteous manner
• Assist teachers and other personnel when they have questions or need help, if the person with whom they need to speak is not available
• Carry out office responsibilities as assigned by the school principal or his/her designee
• Other duties as assigned
Terms of Employment:
This position is a 12 month position. Salary and conditions to be established by the School Board.
Evaluation:
Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board’s policy and administrative regulations of classified personnel.
