Job Title: Food Service Secretary
Primary Function: To provide assistance with the daily operations of the Food and Nutrition Department.
Qualifications: Must beat least 21 years of age
High School Diploma, GED or higher
Knowledge of School Nutrition
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Reports to: Coordinator of Food Services
Performance
Responsibilities: 1. Enter online orders for food and produce.
2. Manage catering (includes sending invoices) for meetings and banquets.
3. Enter menus and other data into computer.
4. Visit cafeterias to conduct required inspections and reviews.
5. Inspect quality of foods delivered and served.
6. Transfer food and supplies to cafeterias as needed.
7. Assist with Summer Feeding and Child/Adult Care Feeding Programs.
8. Assist with new Procurement regulations.
9. Deliver cafeteria deposits to financial institution as needed.
10. Assist with new invoice procedures and demands.
11. Other duties assigned by the Coordinator of Food Services.
Terms of
Employment: Salary and conditions to be established by the Franklin County School Board.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated by the Coordinator of Food Services in
accordance with the School Board’s policy and administrative regulations on
evaluation of personnel.
