TITLE:                  Covid Testing Coordinator

JOB DESCRIPTION:             Promote health services and leadership in establishing a

                                                complete and effective program of school health that will                                                     include Covid protocols around testing, vaccinations and safe                                                         practices.

QUALITICATIONS:                1.  Graduate of an accredited program of nursing with RN /LPN

2.  Current license to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia

3.  Prefer two (2) years of successful working experience with

      reference(s) giving evidence of competency in nursing care    

      practices, and qualities of character and personality which

      merit the confidence and respect of students, staff and

      parents.

REPORTS TO:                       Director of Operations and School Nurse Coordinator

PERFORMANCE

RESPONSIBILITIES:             1.  Work with the Director of Operations and Nurse Coordinator

      to develop protocols and procedures concerning Covid    

      testing, vaccination and safety.

2.   Serve as a liaison between the Department of Health and the  

      school system.

3.  Provide support to schools if and when there is a nurse

      shortage.

4.  Organize, implement and staff the division Covid test site.

5. Keep current of new requirements for students and staff

     concerning vaccination status and covid testing or screening.

6. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of

     Operations and Nurse Coordinator

TERMS OF

EMPLOYMENT:                     Ten-month year.  Conditions and salary to be established by the Board.

EVALUATION:                       Performance on this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with school board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of classified personnel.
