Coordinator of Testing/Home-Instructed Students/Grant Writing - Division
This position organizes all levels of division testing, monitors home instructed students, and writes grants for individual schools and division-wide programs.
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Educational Leadership with endorsement in Administration and Supervision Preferred
Performance Responsibilities:
serve as the liaison between the school division and the VDOE School Assessment and School Improvement Office
plan and administer the Standards of Learning testing program
ensure compliance with state and federal assessment guidelines
run accountability and instructional assessment reports for the division and schools
support IEP and 504 teams on accountability matters
act as the PowerTest/Interactive Achievement help desk
support WIDA testing for ELL students
oversee the division training for implementation of testing requirements
supervise the effective implementation of required state, county, and district assessments
facilitate the administration of state mandated assessments
assist with implementation of 2nd Grade OLSAT testing
coordinate SOL technology planning with IT department
train teachers and run scoring event for VAAP
certify ethical testing practice within the school division
analyze data and work with the schools' administration and faculty in understanding assessment data in order to generate effective responses to the school/students' needs
seek and apply for appropriate grants for the school division
enroll and validate necessary paperwork for home instucted students and students requesting religious exemptions
must possess substantive organizational skills
must possess excellent communication skills
Terms of Employment: 12 month year. Salary to be established by the Board.

Performance on this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with school board policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of certified personnel.
