Definition of Work Summary

Operate copiers and binding equipment to copy and print Reprographics Work Orders, read, proof for errors and clarity of copies and correct. Reports to Print Shop Manager.

Job Description

1. Copies or prints all forms, reports, brochures, programs, stationery, envelopes: folds, staples and collates copied materials for the Franklin County Public Schools.

2. Safeguards paper stock and maintains inventory. Communicates to manager or purchasing coordinator needed supplies and paper.

3. Maintains all equipment and make sure they are in working order.

4. Monitoring/Assessing performance of your work.

5. Determining economically the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.

6. Able to understand written directions as requested by customers.

7. Ability to troubleshoot copiers and binding equipment.

8. Customer service.

9. Knowledge of materials, production process, quality, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of orders. (stacks and package final work for  pickup.)

10. Physically capable of lifting 501bs. or more.

11. Ability to fulfill the duties of Print Shop Manager when deemed necessary.

12. Ability to communicate with customers regarding details of work order.

13. Understands the procedures for Equipment Maintenance Management

14. Franklin County Public Schools policy and procedures and accessing chain of command.

15. High school diploma and any higher levels of education/ and or experience.
