Compliance Coordinator

Primary Function:

To monitor and maintain all records for water/sewer operation and to insure that all Federal, State, and Local regulations are complied with on all projects, renovations, new constructions, and installation of any type, and to implement regulations in monitoring, removing, and reporting procedures regarding dangerous materials.

Qualifications:

1. Must have high school diploma or GED

2. Must have ability to comprehend Federal, State, and Local regulations

3. Must have demonstrated leadership ability in previous work experience

4. Must complete required training and qualify for necessary specialized state licenses

Reports to: Supervisor of Buildings and Grounds

Performance Responsibilities:

1. To provide training for all personnel working with or in the vicinity of classified building materials

2. To supervise the removal of classified materials according to safety regulations for protection of workers in removal, disposal, and cleanup procedures

3. To inspect all facilities for safety, health issues, and classified building materials per Federal, State, and Local regulations; detailed records and complete reports shall be maintained concerning any of the previous mentioned actions

4. To make inspections, keep records, and complete reports as required under all regulations for water/sewer usage and disposal

5. To make inspections, reports, and conduct necessary training required in the use, storage, and disposal of toxic substances

6. To attend appropriate meetings and conferences and strive to to keep technical skills up to date 

7. Other duties and responsibilities as directed by the supervisor

Terms of Employment:

Salary and conditions to be established by the school board

Evaluation: 

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with the Board's policy and administrative regulations on evaluation of classified personnel
