Psst! We're moving!
Faced with Su Hui’s unpredictable train of thought, Su Cheng found himself at a loss for words.
He didn’t bother to dwell on it further and continued walking forward. The spot on the back of his neck where she had bitten him still tingled slightly with both pain and itchiness.
This was the first time Su Cheng had experienced such a strange sensation.
He wanted to reach up and touch it, but with Su Hui on his back, he could only wait until he got her back to her dorm before checking in the mirror.
He wondered if Su Hui would even remember tonight’s events.
Lost in his thoughts, Su Cheng walked silently along the deserted path. The lampposts stretched and then shortened their shadows as they moved.
Five minutes later, he arrived at the entrance to her dormitory building. During that time, the drunk Su Hui had continuously shifted against him, unintentionally teasing him in ways he couldn’t retaliate against.
The dorm supervisor saw him and immediately said, “Boys aren’t allowed inside. Please have one of her roommates come down to pick her up.”
Su Cheng didn’t have any of Su Hui’s roommates’ contact information.
Her bag was slung diagonally across her waist. He reached into it, his gaze involuntarily lingering on her fair, exposed skin. His eyes darkened slightly.
Su Hui’s phone used fingerprint unlocking. He grabbed her hand and swiped it across the sensor, unlocking it. From the contacts list, he found a number labeled with a note and dialed it.
A soft voice answered, “Hello? Su Hui?”
Su Cheng replied calmly, “I’m Su Cheng. Su Hui is drunk and currently downstairs at the dormitory entrance. I can’t go in—could you help me out?”
Zhou Kexin gasped and quickly got out of bed. “Okay, okay! I’ll be right there. Please wait a moment.”
After hanging up, Zhou Kexin nudged Zhang Ranran, who was watching videos. “Let’s go! Su Hui’s drunk, and we need to bring her back.”
Zhang Ranran let out an “Oh” and followed suit.
When they exited the dorm, they saw Su Hui clinging to Su Cheng’s neck, completely limp against him, muttering something under her breath.
Su Cheng stood there, unmoving.
Zhou Kexin marveled inwardly, finding the scene oddly strange. Zhang Ranran, being more direct, snapped a quick photo.
“We’ll show this to Su Hui when she wakes up.”
Hearing the commotion, Su Cheng glanced over and politely said, “Thank you for your trouble.”
Zhou Kexin blushed slightly. “It’s no problem, really.”
Zhang Ranran, who was stronger, pulled Su Hui onto her own shoulder. “Alright, we’ll take her from here.”
Su Cheng added, “If possible, please make her a cup of honey water.”
Zhou Kexin quickly agreed. “Sure thing!”
Su Cheng nodded. “Thanks.”
He slipped Su Hui’s phone back into her bag and gently patted her hair. Su Hui, eyes closed, made a small, dissatisfied hum.
After watching the three of them head inside, Su Cheng finally turned to leave.
Zhou Kexin gushed, “Su Hui’s brother is so handsome and gentle. The country owes me a brother like that!”
She was utterly envious.
Zhang Ranran helped Su Hui onto her bed. “Too bad you don’t have one.”
Fortunately, aside from being asleep, Su Hui didn’t exhibit any other drunken antics. She simply collapsed onto her bed and fell asleep. Zhou Kexin prepared a cup of honey water, which Su Hui drank without much fuss.
Then they heard Su Hui mutter curses about perverts in her sleep.
Zhou Kexin nearly dropped the cup, thinking she had woken up. She asked nervously, “Su Hui, are you feeling uncomfortable somewhere?”
There was no response.
Zhou Kexin leaned closer and noticed Su Hui’s lips moving faintly. Straining to hear, she caught Su Hui mumbling, “Waaah… don’t eat me… don’t eat me…”
Zhou Kexin: “….”
Who on earth wants to eat her?

In the boys’ dormitory, the night was lively.
Su Cheng returned after buying some things. When he pushed open the door, Lin Jinxu was watching a video on his computer, the volume cranked up high.
Lin Jinxu commented while watching, “…Still not as satisfying as seeing it live. The camerawork was terrible—I couldn’t even see Su Hui clearly.”
Su Cheng turned around, narrowing his eyes slightly.
He kicked Lin Jinxu’s chair lightly and placed a can of cola on his desk. “The teacher assigned homework today. It’s due tomorrow.”
Lin Jinxu immediately asked, “Where’s the assignment?”
Su Cheng pointed.
As soon as Lin Jinxu saw the pile of work, he exploded. “Holy crap, there’s so much! And it’s due tomorrow?! Is this even humanly possible? Did you finish yours, Su Cheng?”
“I haven’t,” Su Cheng replied coolly.
Lin Jinxu deflated and hurriedly shut off his computer to focus on the homework. Tonight’s happiness would have to rely solely on that can of soda.
Meanwhile, Su Cheng put his things away and went to the bathroom.
Standing in front of the mirror, he tilted his head slightly to examine the bite mark on the back of his neck. It was faintly red, evidence of its owner’s delicate teeth.
Su Cheng touched it lightly with his fingers and suddenly chuckled.
After washing his face, he returned to the main room. By now, most of his roommates were back and chatting.
Sun Quanwen had brought back barbecue and was happily munching away. Seeing Lin Jinxu furiously scribbling, he mumbled through a mouthful of food, “What are you writing? An application?”
The entire dorm smelled of grilled meat.
Without looking up, Lin Jinxu replied, “Homework. It’s due tomorrow.”
Sun Quanwen froze. “What homework is due tomorrow?”
He leaned over to take a look and realized it was indeed today’s assignment. But since he hadn’t paid attention in class, he had forgotten all about it.
Sun Quanwen quickly scarfed down his barbecue and joined Lin Jinxu in frantically working on the assignment.
For a while, the entire dormitory was hard at work.
Su Cheng hadn’t expected this outcome.
Seeing him idle, Sun Quanwen called out, “Su Cheng, want some barbecue? This place has amazing flavor.”
Su Cheng picked up a skewer.
He wasn’t particularly fond of such foods; his diet was always healthy, and his habits were meticulously disciplined.
Just as he was about to turn away, Sun Quanwen spoke again.
“What’s this bite mark? Why is it so red?” Sun Quanwen spotted it and reached for the mosquito repellent on the table. “The mosquitoes here must be brutal. Let me apply some for you.”
“No need,” Su Cheng declined.
“But how can you not treat it? It might swell!” Sun Quanwen insisted.
He stood up and took a closer look. His eyes widened in disbelief.
Sun Quanwen put down the repellent and muttered, “Never mind. I just remembered this stuff might be expired. We wouldn’t want to make it worse.”
Su Cheng: “….”
Once Sun Quanwen left, he quickly sent a message to Lin Jinxu: “Guess what’s on Old Three’s neck??”
Lin Jinxu: “What?”
Sun Quanwen: “A hickey!”
Lin Jinxu nearly banged his head on the desk. “What hickey? Have you ever seen Old Three look at anyone besides his books?”
Sun Quanwen complained, “But I definitely saw a bite mark on his neck! If it’s not a hickey, what else could it be?”
This time, Lin Jinxu couldn’t argue.
He set down his phone, pretending he needed to use the bathroom. As he passed behind Su Cheng, he deliberately slowed down and clearly saw the bite mark.
Lin Jinxu almost choked on his breath.
After just one night apart, had Old Three gotten himself into such spicy territory?
And there was a bite mark, no less—a sign of how much hatred the girl must have felt toward him at the time. Lin Jinxu’s imagination ran wild with unmentionable thoughts.
Shaking his head, he quickly returned to his seat.
Who on earth was Old Three’s girlfriend?

The next morning, Su Hui woke up with absolutely no memory of what she had done while drunk.
Zhou Kexin and Zhang Ranran vividly described the scene they had witnessed, scaring Su Hui nearly to tears.
