Psst! We're moving!
After that separation, Zhang Fanfan dreamed of Song Luo for several consecutive days.
She missed him terribly, but unfortunately, she didn’t have his contact information.
She even bothered Song Zhi for days because of this.
Unfortunately, the latter teased her for a while, then deliberately refused to tell her.
Zhang Fanfan was almost driven crazy, feeling that Song Zhi was still holding a grudge from before.
Now, she finally saw the person she had been longing for, but he didn’t even remember her.
Zhang Fanfan’s proud girlish heart was shattered into glass shards, piercing her chest with pain.
Although she felt wronged, she still made sure to reintroduce herself: “My name is Zhang Fanfan, I’m twenty-one years old, and I’m Song Zhi’s friend.”
She added in a super soft voice, “And her future sister-in-law.”
Her little demeanor was very serious.
Normally, she had an arrogant face, always looking down on this and that, but it was rare to see her so gentle today.
Song Zhi became interested and smiled, reminding her, “Don’t just claim relationships randomly. When did we become friends?”
Zhang Fanfan’s face flushed slightly as she quickly explained, “We might have had a little misunderstanding before.”
Song Zhi raised an eyebrow, “Oh, so there’s no misunderstanding now?”
She lowered her head, pursed her lips slightly, and said in a very small voice, “If you had told me your brother was so handsome earlier, I wouldn’t have had any misunderstandings with you.”
Song Luo: “...”
Jiang Yanzhou wasn’t pleased that Song Zhi’s attention was on someone else, and that she kept smiling at her.
He held her hand, gently kneading it in his palm. “Zhizhi.”
Her attention was momentarily diverted. She looked at him, “What’s wrong? Are you uncomfortable somewhere?”
He shook his head, “Song Luo brought you lunch. Do you want to eat something first?”
“I’m not hungry.”
As soon as she spoke, she seemed to remember something interesting and stood up, walking over to Zhang Fanfan. “Are you hungry? Why don’t we sit down and eat together?”
Zhang Fanfan was in no mood to eat. “I’m not hungry either.”
“My brother made it himself, you’re really not hungry?”
Zhang Fanfan paused, then nodded vigorously. “I’m hungry, I’m hungry!”
She cautiously looked at Song Luo, as if asking for his permission. “Is it okay?”
Song Luo didn’t mind. “Eat.”
Song Zhi wouldn’t waste time on people she disliked. Since she was in the mood to tease her, it meant her impression of this person wasn’t bad.
He wouldn’t make things difficult for her friends either.
It was still raining outside, and the wind blew in with it.
Song Luo went to close the window. As he passed the hospital bed, he glanced at their intertwined hands.
As soon as Song Zhi left his side, Jiang Yanzhou endured the pain of his injuries and followed.
That hand was stuck to her palm like it was glued with 502, unable to be separated.
Song Luo wasn’t surprised by their rekindled romance; in fact, he had long anticipated this outcome.
However, seeing it with his own eyes still made him quite annoyed.
His precious little sister was so easily captivated by that scoundrel Jiang Yanzhou.
Although Song Luo’s cooking skills were decent, they certainly had a gap compared to Zhang Fanfan’s family chef.
She was extremely picky about food and ate very little to maintain her figure, so she was even more particular about taste.
Normally, she even had to bring her own chef when going to film.
Yet now, she acted as if she were eating a delicacy, not at all stingy with her praises: “It’s so delicious.”
“Your cooking is really good.”
“Wow.”
Her face would instantly flush red just from looking at Song Luo, but now, she forced her entire face to blush just to flatter him.
Song Zhi was suffering trying to hold back her laughter.
It was the first time she had seen Zhang Fanfan act like this today.
Jiang Yanzhou wasn’t very happy.
He kept finding various topics to try and attract Song Zhi’s attention.
“Are you really not hungry?”
“How about I take you out to eat something delicious later?”
“My injuries aren’t serious. We can sneak out; just don’t let the nurses find out.”
Song Zhi wasn’t sure if it was her imagination, but she always felt that ever since Zhang Fanfan arrived, Jiang Yanzhou had become increasingly clingy.
It couldn’t possibly be jealousy over another girl, could it?
She thought he was feeling unwell again.
“Is your wound hurting?”
He shook his head, “It doesn’t hurt.”
Song Zhi breathed a sigh of relief. “Good, as long as it doesn’t hurt.”
“Does the wound itch?”
“A little.”
“Don’t scratch it if it itches. The nurse said an itchy wound means it’s scabbing.”
“Okay, I won’t scratch.” He was very obedient. “I’m so obedient, can you stay with me today?”
Song Zhi thought of Song Luo’s words and was about to speak.
Jiang Yanzhou held her hand and rubbed it against his face. “Just lie once in a while, it’s okay.”
He used the gentlest voice to tell her to be a slightly disobedient child.
Song Zhi looked at his expectant eyes and suddenly felt that she and Jiang Yanzhou were indeed not on the same level.
She simply couldn’t outplay him.
He knew exactly what she couldn’t resist, and he knew the fastest way to achieve his goals.
Song Zhi sighed imperceptibly.
She still nodded in agreement.
Jiang Yanzhou hugged her, smiling, “My Zhizhi is so good.”
The hospital food was bland and the taste was mediocre.
Xiao Lian, fearing Jiang Yanzhou might not be used to it, specially made some at home and brought it over.
Seeing Song Zhi also there, she first paused, then happily pursed her lips and secretly smiled, “Is Song Zhi staying to accompany the Mister today?”
Song Zhi feigned helplessness, looking very troubled, “Having too much charm isn’t good either. Your Mister cried and begged me to stay with him.”
On her bright and beautiful face, there was an air of pride and indulgence.
Xiao Lian secretly envied her. One had to be pampered without limits to live so freely.
But she also liked her. Seeing the two finally reconcile, she thought about rushing home to tell her aunt the news.
The house was finally going to be lively again.
After Song Zhi moved out, Jiang Yanzhou spoke even less, mostly returning to his own home outside.
Occasionally, he would come back drunk. He was busy with work and had many social engagements.
When drunk, he would go to Song Zhi’s room.

Xiao Lian placed the items down. “Then I’ll be going now. You two take your time eating.”
Song Zhi stood up to see her out.
The food she prepared was all light, designed to help with wound recovery.
Song Zhi peeled a boiled egg and handed it to Jiang Yanzhou. “I’ll go get you a glass of hot water.”
He nodded, remained quiet for a moment, then said, “Once my wound heals, you and I will go back to the Jiang family.”
Song Zhi’s movements paused slightly.
Although she had visited with him a few times before, her state of mind was different then.
Going now, she was a little scared.
She knew the Jiang family looked down on her.
Seemingly discerning her inner thoughts, Jiang Yanzhou chuckled softly and pinched her face, “Don’t worry, I won’t let you suffer any grievances.”
She hesitated, looking up. “But didn’t your father and grandfather always want you to marry someone from a matching family background?”
He didn’t deny it, simply humming lightly in affirmation.
Unexpectedly, he admitted it so readily. Song Zhi glared at him unhappily.
He held her, chuckling lowly in his throat, his voice sounding as if it had been crushed and then unfolded, “But I just want to marry up, so don’t even think about shaking me off again.”
