Psst! We're moving!
“Found him.”
After Han Jintae escaped during the day, GN once again became the center of controversy. The media extensively covered the background of Choi Inho’s arrest. Chairman Yu, through his lawyer, denied all charges, claiming they were untrue. He shifted the blame, saying that this entire incident was solely orchestrated by Han Jintae, his secretary.
“If it weren’t for Park Dojun...”
Dojun was the most unmanageable person he had ever encountered. Believing only the rumor that he was the son of a vulgar loan shark and failing to properly investigate him led to this outcome. He never imagined that his carefully built empire would collapse overnight like this. Just in case, he had extracted various confidential documents from Chairman Yu’s work PC that morning. Moreover, he had even gotten his hands on his personal laptop, so it was perfect.
“He should have known when to stop.”
Chairman Yu also had a poor relationship with his eldest son. Even after inheriting the chairmanship, he caused conflict by refusing to relinquish power. Because of this, his eldest son had no affection for the company. Chairman Yu always complained about this. Naturally, Han Jintae benefited from this, gaining power.
“How do I get out now?”
There was a small back door in the main office building used by smokers. He had snuck in avoiding the security guards, but getting out was the problem. First, he took the laptop and left the parking lot. Just then, the security guard was locking the back door he had just entered.
“I’m screwed.”
After much thought, he walked down a dark corridor where the lights were off. Then, he discovered a shabby passage used by cleaners to enter and exit the building. When he came out, an unfamiliar landscape unfolded before him. A relieved Han Jintae ran without looking back. Finally, he saw a main road, took a taxi, and headed to a motel on the outskirts of Seoul.
“Whew, I’m tired.”
Han Jintae meticulously searched Chairman Yu’s laptop first. He hummed a tune as he found various documents he hadn’t known about. He moved from place to place, hiding for two days. After enough time had passed, he called a reporter he knew.
“I have some useful material about Chairman Yu. However, there are conditions.”
Han Jintae was not the kind of person to give up what he had easily. The reporter sensed this and began negotiations.

The crime against Hae-joo, prepared by Choi Inho just before his arrest, sparked nationwide outrage. Simultaneously, the police moved busily to apprehend Chairman Yu, who instigated the act, and Han Jintae, who acted as his enforcer. Because of this incident, the prosecution, which had been hesitant, also changed its stance. Feeling the crisis, Chairman Yu collapsed the day Choi Inho was arrested and was rushed to the hospital.
“Is Han Jintae still at large?”
“Yes, Chairman.”
Currently, other victims and companies, who had been enduring threats, were now rushing to file complaints against GN. The media was busy investigating the facts based on their interviews.
“Contact everyone you know, prosecutors, judges, everyone.”
There was a lot of evidence submitted by Dojun, which put them at a disadvantage. In this situation, there was no choice but to use the power of influence. Before that, they had to catch that rat, Han Jintae, somehow.
“Call Park Dojun and put him on the phone with me.”
The secretary’s office employee called Dojun. When he stated the purpose, Dojun readily agreed to the call.
“Chairman, it’s CEO Park Dojun’s call.”
“Give it to me.”
Chairman Yu cleared his throat and held the phone. He moistened his dry lips and began to speak.
“CEO Park Dojun.”
-Speak.
“I retract what I said about you being a novice.”
-Just state your business.
“Thanks to you, my throat is truly constricted.”
-Not yet.
“I will hold a press conference and apologize. And I will compensate Director Kwak for the damages, so please back off.”
-Where has your passion for trying to kill me and Hae-joo gone?
A dark red flush appeared on Chairman Yu’s face. He forcibly suppressed his boiling anger and spoke.
“Han Jintae orchestrated most of it. That’s the truth.”
-Your excuse is pathetic.
“For Jinhan’s sake, I hope you’ll let this slide this time.”
-I heard Director Yu Jinhan cut ties with you, though.
“Are you going to keep acting this way?”
-You should find Han Jintae faster than I do.
“What?!”
-Then let’s make a bet on who finds him first. I’ll hang up now.
The call ended. Chairman Yu’s churning heart made his breathing irregular. Medical staff rushed in and administered aid, and he finally stabilized. Even amidst this, as he couldn’t rest, a call came from an unknown number.
“Chairman, what should we do?”
“Answer it.”
The secretary’s office employee turned around and answered the phone. After a few words, his face turned pale, and he rushed over.
“Chairman, it’s Manager Han.”
“Give it to me!”
Chairman Yu snatched the phone away. He was so excited that his hands trembled.
“Is that Manager Han?”
-I heard you’re unwell. How’s your health?
“Is that something to say?!”
-Please calm down. I’m not happy about how things turned out either.
Chairman Yu closed his eyes and tried to calm his discomfort. Now, he had to find Han Jintae somehow and prevent him from causing more trouble. He was a ticking time bomb. Knowing everything about Chairman Yu, action was needed.
“I’m struggling without you. Come and help me.”
-Are you serious?
“We’ve been together all this time, haven’t we? Come and be my hands and feet.”
-…
“I’ll meet whatever conditions you want. When this is settled, I’ll even give you a subsidiary.”
-That’s such a sweet offer, it’s hard to accept readily.
“Both you and I are cornered. There’s nothing good to come from pointing blades at each other.”
This was not the Han Jintae of old. He was calmly getting what he wanted from Chairman Yu.
-I have your personal laptop, Chairman.
“…!”
-And I called to tell you that I also have GN’s confidential documents.
“What do you want?”
His gruff voice sank coldly. Chairman Yu had no intention of being manipulated by Han Jintae’s threats any longer.
-I want to meet. If you promise me then, I’ll return the documents I have.
“That means you haven’t released it to the media yet.”
-Why would I, a mere subordinate, go against the Chairman?
“Good. Let’s meet.”
-The Chairman must come alone. Since you can drive.
After the call ended, Han Jintae sent the meeting place and time. Chairman Yu got out of bed at the mention of meeting tonight.

After work, Dojun paced anxiously in the living room. He had unleashed his men to catch Han Jintae, but they had consistently failed.
“It’s not easy.”
Han Jintae was agile. He was quick-witted, so by the time they received information and went after him, he had already vanished. Each time, he would leave a note to deceive Dojun and then casually disappear.
“What’s his intention?”
For the past two days, Han Jintae had not shown himself at all. GN was also trying to catch him, but it didn’t seem easy. There should be no more mistakes like Choi Inho. However, tracing the whereabouts of the extremely cunning Han Jintae was difficult.
“CEO, why don’t we just leave Han Jintae alone?”
“He tried to harm Hae-joo. If I leave him be, he’ll find a way to attack her again.”
Dojun, after sending Director Song away, ate cake with Hae-joo. He dug his fork into the fluffy cream and brought it to Hae-joo’s mouth.
“Ah, say ‘ah’.”
“Are you going to play a trick again?”
“I’m going to feed you.”
Hae-joo, despite her suspicions, opened her mouth slightly. Dojun then carefully placed the cake in her mouth.
“Then I’ll feed you too.”
Hae-joo scooped a large portion of cake. When Dojun opened his mouth, she put the cake in. Then she dabbed the remaining cream on the tip of his nose.
“Oh my, Dojun, you look handsome even like this.”
“Lick it off.”
“Ugh!”
“I just washed thoroughly.”
“Just wipe it with tissue.”
“It’s a waste. Hurry.”
Hae-joo reluctantly brought her face closer. Taking advantage of the moment, Dojun rubbed the cream from his nose onto Hae-joo’s cheek.
“Kyaa!”
“Because I wanted to lick it off.”
“You’re crazy, really!”
Hae-joo grumbled and pulled out a wet wipe. As she tried to wipe the cream off her face, Dojun grabbed her hand, stopping her.
“I said I’d eat the cream.”
“Oh, forget it.”
“Come here.”
“Ack, that tickles.”
Even though Hae-joo struggled, the cream on her soft skin was sweet to Dojun. The scent of cosmetics spreading in his mouth was also delicious, and he licked his lips.
“Delicious.”
“Pervert!”
“Want me to show you what a real pervert is?”
The two played endlessly. These days, thanks to Dojun, Hae-joo had more days of laughter. Just then, his phone rang. With plenty of cream still on his lips, he checked the number on the screen.
“It’s an unknown number.”
“Don’t answer it.”
Despite Hae-joo’s worry, Dojun said it was fine and pressed the answer button.
“Hello.”
-…
“Hello?”
-It’s me, Han Jintae.
“You’re tenacious. You’re finally calling.”
-Since you’re looking for me, I thought I’d show myself.
“Oh really?”
Han Jintae was still relaxed and inscrutable.
-I’m thinking of putting on an interesting show tonight.
“That sounds intriguing.”
-The show starts tonight, would you like to come and see it?
“Conditions?”
-Come alone. It’ll be too noisy if there are too many spectators.
Dojun frowned at the unreasonable demand. Though displeased, catching Han Jintae was the priority, so he accepted.
“Alright. Let’s meet.”
-The viewing spot has been decided, so you must stay only there.
The conditions were also stringent. Dojun memorized the time and place Han Jintae told him and hung up.
“Hae-joo, I’ll be out for a bit.”
“At this hour?”
“If I don’t resolve this properly, he’ll keep bothering you.”
Dojun roughly wiped his face with a tissue and prepared to leave. The time Han Jintae had given him was tight, so he had to hurry.
“I’m going to finish everything today, so look forward to it.”
“You must come back.”
“Of course.”
Dojun drove out. On the way, he briefly stopped and contacted Director Song.
“Call the bodyguards on standby. They need to disguise themselves as ordinary passersby so they aren’t noticed.”
Dojun intended to put an end to this stagnant affair. He believed that Han Jintae’s intention in contacting him was to achieve that.
“He must be exhausted too.”
Han Jintae alone would find it difficult to deal with Chairman Yu. Even if it turned into a messy fight, it wouldn’t benefit Han Jintae. But Chairman Yu was different. He would likely use health excuses if investigated immediately and maximize his connections in the legal world. To anyone, it seemed Han Jintae was bound to lose this fight.
“But why did he call me?”
It seemed like nothing but self-destruction. The Han Jintae Dojun had experienced never showed emotion in anything he did. His self-harm was merely a means of attack, he surmised.
“Let’s go for now.”
Dojun arrived at the location Han Jintae requested beforehand and turned off the engine. Director Song sent a message saying he had arrived. It was a particularly secluded spot in Han River Park. The cars parked here and there seemed empty, but they contained the bodyguards Dojun had called. A moment later, a long sedan, stretching front and back, slowly pulled in. Upon closer inspection, Chairman Yu was in the driver’s seat. Just then, a man walked leisurely towards them. With the collar of his thin jumper turned up and a hat on, he stood some distance from the sedan.
“Chairman, you’ve arrived?”
It was Han Jintae. He took off his hat and bowed with excessive courtesy. Still, Chairman Yu did not get out of the car. He merely rolled down the window and spoke.
“I’m not feeling well, so my steps are weak. Come closer.”
“Then, shall I come a little closer?”
Han Jintae approached about ten steps and then stopped. He held Chairman Yu’s laptop in his hand.
“Did he already take the data?”
“Is that all? The secrets about the Chairman’s extraordinary private life are already in my head.”
“You’re quite something.”
“You’re quite fond of women, so I had a hard time accommodating you.”
Chairman Yu’s strained hand bulged with veins. Still, his voice was kept low.
“You’ve contacted a reporter, haven’t you?”
“I tried to, but it wasn’t easy, so I came to you, Chairman.”
“Hmm.”
“In exchange for releasing all the materials I have, I’d like to receive compensation for the work I’ve done so far.”
“Name your price.”
“Forget about subsidiaries and such; money should be enough.”
“How much?”
“20 billion won.”
“…!”
“Give it to me in cash.”
For a moment, Chairman Yu’s neck stiffened. Yet, it was hard to refuse because Han Jintae knew too much.
“Alright. Then you’ll bear all legal responsibility.”
“No, sir.”
“Manager Han!”
“Let’s share the responsibility equally, Chairman and I.”
“If that’s truly your will.”
Chairman Yu finally opened the driver’s side door. As if taking out one of his thick legs, he then got back into the car. His eyes were not normal. In an instant, he started the engine and stomped on the pedal, charging towards Han Jintae.
