Psst! We're moving!
Turning off the shower, as the sound of water stopped, a white T-shirt was handed in.
It was the one he often wore.
The bathroom was filled with steam, and the mirror was fogged up, reflecting a blurry image. Zhou Yu felt that just wearing a T-shirt was too short, but then thought that it would probably be taken off anyway, so she opened the door and went out like that.
The computer was still on, paused on the image she had stopped it at.
Cheng Yuzhou had showered downstairs. He was quick, and had just gone out to get Zhou Yu something to drink. He pushed open the bedroom door and saw her drying her hair by the window.
The sound of the door locking was distinct. Zhou Yu turned to look at him.
She had just showered, wearing his clothes.
Cheng Yuzhou placed the cup on the desk, walked over and drew the curtains. Zhou Yu was pushed by him behind the balcony door. He wrapped one arm around her waist and used the other to cup her chin, tilting her head up.
When he touched the corner of her mouth where she was hurt, he let out a low groan, his breathing becoming heavier, making her ears burn.
“You two didn’t actually fight, did you?”
“The injury is on my face, how could it be fake?”
Zhou Yu thought for a moment, then looked at him with a suspicious gaze, “Cheng Yanqing said you’re especially insidious.”
“That... depends on the person,” Cheng Yuzhou chuckled softly, kissing her collarbone, “Alright, I admit, I was teasing Cheng Wanyue just now, it’s not like that at all. Actually, Cheng Yanqing just tripped, and his head hit my face. I didn’t have time to deal with him today, I’ll settle accounts with him in a couple of days.”
He propped himself up, took off his shirt, and then quickly leaned over and pressed against her, “Hot?”
She wasn’t wearing anything under the T-shirt, and its hem was already rolled up to her waist. Zhou Yu covered her burning face with both hands and whispered, “A little.”
Only the desk lamp was on, the light was dim.
“Should we take it off?”
“...Mm.”
“You can touch me too,” his throat was parched, his voice low and hoarse, “Saying it like this is insidious.”
She felt the warm, sticky dampness on his skin, unsure if it was sweat or moisture from the bathroom.
Cheng Yuzhou kissed her, “The real thought is: I want you to touch me.”
Zhou Yu’s head felt fuzzy and swollen; she seemed too nervous.

A boy’s first time is often humiliating for most.
She was carried to bathe, then put on a clean T-shirt, also one of his usual ones.
Zhou Yu didn’t have the strength to think about whether she was wearing anything under the T-shirt. She was temporarily carried to the sofa. Cheng Yuzhou quickly changed the sheets before carrying her back to bed. During this time, she didn’t wake up for a second.
She was awakened in the morning.
When she opened her eyes, it was already bright outside. If the curtains were open, the sun would definitely be shining into the room.
Her consciousness slowly returned. She remembered she was in the Cheng family compound, in his room, in his bed.
Zhou Yu covered her face and shrank into the quilt, trying to burrow into the gap in the bed near the wall.
“I’m sorry, I really couldn’t help myself,” Cheng Yuzhou followed her inward, his voice still hoarse, “I only meant to kiss you, I didn’t mean to wake you up.”
It sounded sincere.
But his hand was still on her waist.
Zhou Yu held onto the quilt tightly, only her eyes showing.
“Alright, I touched you too,” Cheng Yuzhou admitted openly, then became even less restrained. She rolled over, turning her back to him, which actually made it easier for him, “Grandma won’t be back today. Do you want to sleep a bit more?”
The morning temperature was very comfortable, but Zhou Yu, covered by the quilt and with his warm chest pressed against her back, felt a bit hot.
“Don’t come so close to me,” her voice didn’t even sound like her own anymore.
“You didn’t say that yesterday.”
“...I forgot.”
“Then you’re in trouble,” Cheng Yuzhou made to do it again, “I must help you remember.”
She wasn’t afraid; she just dodged because she felt ticklish, hitting her forehead on the wall instead, which startled Cheng Yuzhou. He quickly sat up, brushed aside the messy hair on her face, and carefully checked.
No redness or swelling. He leaned in and kissed her, “Just teasing you. You dodged so fast, I couldn’t even stop you.”
“Why aren’t you wearing clothes!”
He said as a matter of course, “My clothes are on you.”
It wasn’t as if he only had one shirt.
“Then... can you get my clothes for me? I need to go home.”
It was only eight o’clock, but Cheng Yuzhou had woken up too early. He lifted the quilt and burrowed in, rolling over to cover her. When she tried to speak, he blocked her mouth, “I won’t let you go.”
But in fact, he quickly got up, got dressed, and went downstairs to the kitchen to try and cook a pot of porridge.
It was a bit burnt, but edible.
Zhou Yu wasn’t very picky about food, but Cheng Yuzhou felt a bit guilty, thinking it would be better to buy food outside than for her to eat this.
“Is there more?” She wasn’t full.
Cheng Yuzhou cleared the dishes, “No more. I’ll take you to eat something else.”
“I just want porridge. Yours is much better than my first attempt.”
She ate another half bowl.
“I won’t let you suffer in the future,” Cheng Yuzhou cupped her face. This was the most pure kiss from yesterday until now, “My parents will help contact the Nanjing hospital and nursing home. Once everything is arranged, we can go over earlier, no need to wait for school to start. I’ll take Grandma to the city first, then after my uncle’s house is ready, I’ll go back to Nanjing to check on things for a few days, then come back to pick you up.”
Zhou Yu smiled, “Okay.”
The Cheng family’s house wasn’t too close to Zhou’s. Cheng Yuzhou looked at that street lamp, thinking how quickly they had arrived.
He was still holding her hand, unable to let go.
“They’re moving next week.”
Cheng Yanqing had mentioned it yesterday, moving on the 15th.
Zhou Yu said, “It’s already been delayed for a long time because of the gaokao. Moving next week is pretty good too, the weather isn’t that hot yet.”
“What are you doing these next few days?”
“Probably nothing much.”
Her phone had broken last year. Although it was repaired, it kept turning off automatically. Cheng Yuzhou had actually already bought a new one, but he still asked her first, “Can I give you a gift? It’s not particularly expensive.”
Just as he finished speaking, a neighbor called out to Zhou Yu, saying her grandmother was on the road.
Zhou Yu probably didn’t quite hear what he just said. Worried about her grandmother wandering off, she hastily told him goodbye and hurried back home.
