Act 1 and Act 2
Reading Objectives:
Students will identify and analyze the key characters introduced in Act 1, including Macbeth, Lady Macbeth, Duncan, and the witches.
Students will examine the role of the supernatural in Act 1, focusing on the witches and their prophecies.
Students will discuss the theme of guilt as it emerges in Act 2, particularly in relation to Macbeth and Lady Macbeth.
Students will analyze key soliloquies in Act 2, such as Macbeth's "Is this a dagger?" speech.

Students of Year 9 will reflect on the hadith of the Prophet (SAW) about the virtue of a believer. They will analyse the hadith and extend that understanding to their lives.
