In recent days, it has come to our attention that some students have been arriving at school while unwell and subsequently being sent home by our school clinic due to illness. We understand that as parents, you want the best for your child and their health is of utmost importance.
Sending a sick child to school not only affects their own wellbeing but also poses a risk to the health of other students and staff members.
As our assessment period continues, we want to emphasise the importance of supporting your children's health and wellbeing during this time. With just a few days and subjects remaining, it is very important to ensure that students are in optimal condition to perform their best.
When students attend school while sick, it not only affects their own performance in exams but also puts undue pressure on them. It also risks exposing other children to potential illnesses.
If your child is displaying symptoms of sickness please keep them at home to rest and recover. Should a student be found unwell at school, they will be sent home from the school clinic without completing their assessments. This decision is made with the utmost priority placed on student wellbeing.
In such cases, students will be marked as medically absent for the day and their overall grade will be determined based on their formative assessments. Please note that examinations cannot be conducted in the clinic.
For students absent due to illness who do not attend school, we require a medical note from parents. Upon receipt of the medical note, the student will be awarded the marks of their formative assessment as their test grade. However, students who are absent without a medical note will receive a zero for the test.
Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring the health and wellbeing of all students at our school.
We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who supported our Ramadan Bazaar during the International Day Fundraising event for the Al Jalila Foundation. With your generous contributions and unwavering support, we are pleased to announce that we have successfully collected AED 9000.
This amount will be dedicated to treating children battling life-threatening illnesses. Your kindness and generosity have made a profound impact on the lives of these children and their families.

For students in Year 1 to 3, we have designated Storytelling Time. During this period, our our students will engage in reading moral and values-based books. These stories are carefully selected to instill important lessons and virtues.
For students in Year 4 to 9, we have scheduled a dedicated time for "Drop Everything and Read the Quran." This is a special opportunity for our older students to engage with the Holy Quran, bringing their own chapters for silent reading daily.
Non-Muslim students are encouraged to bring their own book to read or they are welcome to borrow from Ms. Mona, our librarian, and indulge in their own reading adventures.
We are thrilled to announce the winners of our recent Times Table Competition, where students from Year 3 to 6 showcased their mathematical prowess in a thrilling battle of mental arithmetic. The competition aimed not only to foster a love for numbers but also to reinforce the importance of mastering basic mathematical skills.
Congratulations to our Times Table Competition Champions and all participants! Well done!
