Reading Chapters 1-6:
We are learning to explore the events, characters and setting of Oliver Twist including language analysis.
Chapters 1-3: Young orphan Oliver faces adversity and exploitation while searching for his identity and belonging in a harsh and unforgiving Victorian England.
Chapter 4-6: Oliver Twist's journey continues as he becomes entangled with a group of juvenile criminals, led by the cunning Fagin, and he encounters a host of morally complex characters while struggling to find his place in a society marked by poverty and injustice.

Islamic B
Exemplars from IGCSE papers were provided to the students.
They analysed these answers to evaluate against the assessment descriptors and the marking scheme.
Eventually they co-constructed a writing criteria that will be used for the year.
Students were introduced to tafseer and using it to understand the verses of the Quran.
They learned how to refelct and analyse the tafseer of Surah Sajdah to help understand the meaning of verses 1-5.
They were able to extend this learning into real life sitautions and use this knowledge to solve real life problems.
ART :
Warm up Activity: Use the grid technique to compose a composition using all elements of art and design.
P.E:
For YR - 7's it was a short session on new joruney, new opportunities for for physical and mental growth and learning. This month our PE team worked on students BMI, Fitness components. Test & Assessments were done to check each and every students fitness components like Strength and Endurance, Cardiovascular Fitness, and Flexibility.
COMPUTING
To be able to draft a profile for yourself that reflects the next 15 years (ice breaker activity).
