Significant updates have been implemented in the current academic calendar regarding term dates. These adjustments align with the guidelines outlined by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) for private schools in Dubai. As previously communicated, we will adhere to this calendar unless directed otherwise.
* Please note that these dates may be subject to change.
** All public and national holidays are tentative until confirmed by relevant authorities and therefore may be subject to change. News of public & Eid holidays will be followed as per the government announcement in the local media.
The list of our proposed term dates for 2024-2025 academic year are included in our ASPS Handbook for your reference.
It is very cold in the mornings and a number of children are coming into school without jackets or appropriate footwear. Let us keep our children warm and safe in the coming weeks.
Please note, all other coloured jackets and sweaters are not allowed.
Al Salam School grey school jackets are available for purchase from the school. Parents may visit the school during school hours to check the jacket sizes. All sizes are now available! The ASPS pullovers are available from the Sumeru store.
Thank you for supporting us by making sure that your child is dressed appropriately for school every day.
A friendly reminder: Please ensure to write your child's name on their school jacket. With so many similar items at school, jackets can easily get misplaced or lost. However, when a name is clearly labelled, lost items can be returned to their owner. Taking this small step can save you from the inconvenience of replacing a lost jacket.
Thank you for entrusting your child into our care this academic year.
Parents of all current students attending Al Salam Private School & Nursery are asked to indicate if they intend for their child/children to continue to attend Al Salam Private School for the new academic year 2024-25.
Parents of all current students attending Al Salam Private School & Nursery are asked to let us know if they intend for their child/children to continue (or not to continue) to attend Al Salam Private School for the new academic year 2024-2025.
You are given the following options:
To re-register your child in ASPS for 2024-25: I agree to re-register my child at Al Salam Private School
To transfer your child from ASPS for 2024-25: No, I do not plan to register.
Parents/legal guardians should confirm their intention to re-register their child/children by completing the online form on or before the 23rd February 2024.
No, however, please note that a re-registration fee of 1000 AED (deductible from first term fees) should be paid on or before 17th May 2024 to complete the re-registration and secure your child's seat.
You can submit the intent form and then schedule to visit the school to pay the school fees.
Pay school fees online or via Zenda (click here for to know more)
If you have not confirmed your intention to re-register your child(ren) by settling the 1000 AED re-registration fee on or before the 17th May, we will have to offer the seat to a new admission/student application.
All previous outstanding fees and Term 3 fees of the current academic year should be cleared or settled prior to the re-registration payment that is due on 17th May 2024.
Students with any outstanding school fees may not be eligible to re-register for the following academic year.
You will still need to complete the re-registration form to inform us that you will not be returning so that we can ensure that you will receive the transfer documentation you require for the student at the end of this academic year.
Whether you plan for your children to continue attending Al Salam Private School next school year or not, please let us know by submitting the Re-registration Intent Form.
