Reading - Excerpts from Act 1-4

To explore the theme of betrayal in Act 2, Scene 1.
To explore Ferdinand and Merinda's relationship in Act 3, Scene 1.
To analyze the symbolic elements present in Prospero's masque for Ferdinand and Miranda in Act 4, Scene 1.
To analyze and discuss the evolving dynamics between characters, particularly the relationships between Prospero, Ferdinand, and Miranda in Act 4, Scene 1.
To explore the theme of illusion versus reality in Act 4, Scene 1, focusing on how Prospero uses magical elements to create illusions and manipulate perceptions.

Writing Objectives:

To create a well structured email advising Merinda.

Analytical Writing: PEEL and PETAL paragraph writing.

Number System:

To compare and order decimal numbers in ascending and descending order.
To add and subtract decimal numbers using the formal method.
To multiply and divide decimal numbers using the formal method.
To convert fractions, decimals and percentages.

To solve problems involving all the above concepts.

Chemistry: Mixtures and Separations

Objectives:

Classify mixtures as suspensions, colloids and solutions, based on what they look like and whether they separate on standing.
Describe how soluble solids can form a solution, and identify the solvent and solute in a solution.
Describe what happens during evaporating.
Explain how chromatography works, and interpret a chromatogram.
Explain how distillation works.

In the month of February, Students were able:

To learn about Traveling and Tourism.
To identify the continents.
To search about capitals & Landmarks.
To design a mind map about one continent.
To Change the tense of the paragraph (past&present)
To learn the elements of writing a letter.
To answer the questions of the reading comprehension (Traveling ).
To answer the activity about (International Day).
To revise cycle 2 lessons for the assessment.

سيتعلم الطلاب خلال هذا الشهر عدة موضوعات وهي:

العقيدة:من علامات الساعة

( قرأن كريم)سبيل الهداية ( النبأ 1-14 )

الحديث الشريف: أخلاق حميدة

قيم الإسلام : أنا متسامح

ومن خلالها استطاع الطالب أن يظهر قدرة على أن:

العقيدة:من علامات الساعة

- يربط بين نهاية الكون والإيمان بيوم القيامة.

- يدلل على عجز البشر عن معرفة وقت قيام الساعة.

- يعدد علامات الساعة

( قرأن كريم)سبيل الهداية ( الملك 1-14 )

- يظهر قدرة على تلاوة سورة الملك الآيات من ( 1: 14 ) تلاوة صحيحة.

- يبين المعنى الإجمالي للآيات.

- يستنتج عاقبة عدم التفكر والتدبر في الأمور

الحديث الشريف: أخلاق حميدة

- يظهر قدرة على قراءة الحديث قراءة سليمة معبرة

- يبين فضل الصدقة

-يستنبط أثر التواضع على النفس والغير

Islamic B

Students learned about the Prophet's (SAW) way of taking a decision and the importance of Shuraa.

They learned how the Prophet (SAW) planned to defend Madinah against the attack of the Quraysh.
They discovered how the victory of the Muslims turned into defeat due to one human weakness.
They learned of various incidents that happened during the battle of Uhud and derived lessons from the battle.

ART :

To be able to define botanical art.
To learn to break down a composition into basic shapes and draw in a manner that is both aesthetically pleasing and scientifically accurate.
To be able to take inspiration from a reference and observe closely to depict the realism of the art form.

P.E:

Basic Grips in Badminton, stance and foot work
Forehand drive
Backhand drive and overhead clears
Short serve

COMPUTING:

To be able to do binary addition of three numbers
To be able to understand the working of Basic Logic Gates.

To explore the role that museums play in maintaining culture.
To examine how Emirati culture has changed over the decades.

To learn about two early companies and how a ‘joint-stock’ company functioned.
To understand, recognise and value the cultural diversity which exists in the classroom and appreciate what difference, diversity and multiple perspectives have to offer society.
To learn to identify, name and challenge prejudiced behaviour.
