We will be having a special fundraising event in honour of World Heart Day on Monday, 2nd October. Together, we can make a meaningful impact in the lives of infant cardiac patients who need our support.
Infant cardiac patients face unique challenges and our support can make a significant difference in their lives. Through this initiative, we aim to provide them with the care and resources they need for a healthier future.
Show your support by wearing red on Monday 2nd October. Let's paint the campus red to raise awareness for this important cause.
Students and Staff who choose to wear red are encouraged to make a contribution of AED 5 or 10. Every dirham counts towards providing essential care for these young patients. All donations will go to the Emirates Red Crescent, ensuring that vital care reaches those who need it most.
We will be celebrating World Teachers Day to honour and appreciate our incredible teachers here at ASPS. This year, we have a special and heartfelt way to show our gratitude.
On this day, students are encouraged to dress up as their favourite teacher! Whether it's their clothing, gestures or teaching approach, this is an opportunity to pay tribute to the teachers who inspire us every day. ASPS teachers are encouraged to wear Al Salam colours.
In addition to dressing up, we invite students to write a heartfelt letter to their favourite teacher expressing their appreciation and sharing what makes that teacher so special.
We are excited to announce our upcoming October Book Drive, a wonderful opportunity for our school community that not only encourages a love for reading but also promotes the spirit of giving.

At ASPS, we believe in nurturing the curiosity and imagination of our students. One of the most captivating frontiers of exploration is space and we are committed to providing students with opportunities to engage in exciting space-related activities.
What's in Store? 🌌
Throughout the year, students can look forward to a range of activities, including Space-Themed Competitions, captivating Planetarium Visits and the latest updates from the UAE's dynamic space endeavors.
🛰️ Recent Adventures! 🛰️
To kick things off, the first batch of students from Year 7-9 visited the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, where they had the incredible honour of meeting Hazza Al Mansouri , a true pioneer and the first Emirati in space!
Year 9 students participated in a Career Guidance Session hosted by the University of Sharjah. During the session, they received valuable insights into the diverse range of courses available at the university, the application requirements, fee details, and information about available scholarship programmes. Students had the opportunity to engage in a live chat with the admissions officer.
We had the privilege of hosting a representative from RTA who came to our school to conduct a special training session for our dedicated School Safety Ambassadors.
The session was packed with valuable insights and hands-on learning about road safety, traffic rules and how to ensure the safety of our fellow students when commuting to and from school.
Safety is a priority, that is why we are taking a significant step towards ensuring our students are prepared for any situation. Our students had the incredible opportunity to participate in a series of engaging talks about First Aid.
But safety doesn't stop there! We've also begun discussions about bus behavior and safety. Ensuring our students know how to travel responsibly is just as important as any other aspect of their education.
The Wellbeing Award is approaching its final phases and this is where we need your input.

The parent evaluation form is below. Please fill it out so we can understand what has gone well and what areas we can further improve in.
