Earlier this week, we shared information regarding our upcoming school inspection scheduled from Monday, 30th October 2023.
This inspection is a significant opportunity for Al Salam Private School to exhibit our best practices and reinforce our commitment to continuous improvement, drawing from the invaluable feedback we receive. We kindly request your support with the following important matters:
Punctuality

Firstly, we kindly request all students to arrive at school promptly by 7:40 am, wearing their correct and complete school uniform. Your cooperation in this matter greatly contributes to maintaining a positive and focused atmosphere.

Additionally, we would like to emphasise the importance of parents wearing their parent ID badge. Please ensure that the badge is visible and worn around your neck. The ID badge should be easily seen and presented to any school staff member- it should not be kept in your pocket or held in your hand. This measure goes a long way in enhancing safety within the school premises.
We appreciate your continued support and cooperation in upholding these important protocols.

Awareness days, such as Dyslexia Awareness Day, offer a precious opportunity to celebrate the incredible diversity of human experience.
Importantly, awareness days serve as invaluable lessons for students, even the youngest among us. They teach the vital lesson that our differences are what make us special. By learning about and understanding the challenges faced by others, students develop empathy and compassion. These qualities lay the foundation for a more inclusive and understanding learning environment.

We are thrilled to announce that, thanks to your generosity, we've collected a remarkable sum that we believe will help a number of people fight against breast cancer. Parent Wellbeing Workshop - Digital Wellness and Online Safety
Parents attending the Digital Wellness and Online Safety workshop enjoyed an invigorating discussion around the best ways to ensure that our children remain safe online. Nowadays, children spend a significant amount of time online, on many different platforms. To be able to ensure that they are safe when online on these platforms, parents need to be aware of the potential risks of each of these and how to navigate them. We have created a guide for parents based on students’ input about the platforms that they commonly use.
There will be further workshops around Digital Wellness in the coming months, so if you missed this one, keep an eye out for the next one!
