To write an internal Monologue as Macbeth.
To write a descriptive narrative to describe the setting of the heath in Act 1, Scene 3.
To write a soliloquy from Lady Macbeth’s perspective, revealing her thoughts and feelings on reading Macbeth’s letter.
Grammar and Punctuation:
To use subjunctive forms of verb in sentences.
To create sentences with direct speech.
To change direct speech to reported speech.
To use commas in essential relative clauses.
Spelling:
To identify and spell ord families based on common words, showing how words are related in form and meaning.
To spell words that can be nouns and verbs.
To spell words with a long /o/ sound spelt ‘ou’ or ‘ow’.
Speaking:
To perform a dramatic reading of Lady Macbeth’s soliloquy.
