Read in Writing Text: Macbeth by William Shakespeare
Reading:
*Vocabulary
To discuss and evaluate how authors use language, including figurative language, considering the impact on the reader.
*Inference
To draw inferences such as inferring characters’ feelings, thoughts and motives from their actions, and justifying inferences with evidence.
*Predict
To predict what might happen from details stated and implied.
*Retrieve
To ask questions to improve understanding.
*Explain
To provide increasingly reasoned justification for my views.
*Summarise
To summarise the main ideas drawn from more than one paragraph, identifying key details to support the main ideas.
*Analyse
To engage with the play’s themes by analysing pictures and objects, and ‘free write’ based on discussion.
Writing:
To write an internal Monologue as Macbeth.
To write a descriptive narrative to describe the setting of the heath in Act 1, Scene 3.
To write a soliloquy from Lady Macbeth’s perspective, revealing her thoughts and feelings on reading Macbeth’s letter.
Grammar and Punctuation:
To use subjunctive forms of verb in sentences.
To create sentences with direct speech.
To change direct speech to reported speech.
To use commas in essential relative clauses.
Spelling:
To identify and spell ord families based on common words, showing how words are related in form and meaning.
To spell words that can be nouns and verbs.
To spell words with a long /o/ sound spelt ‘ou’ or ‘ow’.
Speaking:
To perform a dramatic reading of Lady Macbeth’s soliloquy.
Number: Decimals
Identify the value of each digit in numbers given to three decimal places and multiply and divide numbers by 10, 100 and 1000 giving answers up to three decimal places.
Solve problems which require answers to be rounded to specified degrees of accuracy.
Multiply one-digit numbers with up to two decimal places by whole numbers.
Use written division methods in cases where the answer has up to two decimal places.
Associate a fraction with division and calculate decimal fraction equivalents [for example, 0.375] for a simple fraction.
Number: Percentages
Solve problems involving the calculation of percentages [for example, of measures, and such as 15% of 360] and the use of percentages for comparison.
Recall and use equivalences between simple fractions, decimals and
percentages, including in different contexts.

خلال هذا الشهر استطاع الطالب أن: ـ يوظف المفردات الجديدة لنص (الخوف يأتي من الداخل). ـ يربط أحداث قصة الخوف يأتي من الداخل . - يحلل القصة من حيث عناصرها الفنية. ـ يجيب عن أسئلة تظهر فهمه للنص المسموع( العمل التطوعي ). ـ يتقن كتابة الهمزة المتوسطة في وسط الكلمة. ـ يميز الأحرف المشبهة بالفعل ( الناسخة ) إن و أخواتها و يتقن استخدامها في جمل _ تحليل أفكار نشيد القمر. ــ يكتب نصًّا إقناعيًّا.

ومن خلالها استطاع الطالب أن يظهر قدرة على أن:

1- يظهر قدرة على تلاوة سورة النبأ تلاوة سليمة.
