In celebration of World Children's Day, we have organised an Art Competition that transcended both Primary and Secondary levels, complemented by fun activities specifically designed for our Foundation Stage.
Our recent art activities spanned across different year levels:
Our young learners in the Foundation Stage enthusiastically dedicated their hands to crafting a large-scale collaborative mural.
Year 1 - Year 3: Vibrant Colouring Competition using Oil Pastels showcased imaginative visions and added a burst of color.
Year 4 - Year 6: Students will be given another week to finish their work, focusing on the creation of tote bags adorned with personalised designs using Free Style (Abstract) techniques.
Year 7 - Year 9: Poster Making involved exploring mixed media elements, allowing students to experiment with materials, textures and techniques.
Anticipation is building as we look forward to unveiling more of our students' remarkable artwork to the entire school community. Stay tuned!
Teaching financial literacy at a young age helps children develop healthy, lifelong financial habits. The fundamental principles of financial literacy include earning, saving, investing, protecting, spending and borrowing.
Last week, the Injaz UAE team, in collaboration with KHDA, conducted a financial literacy workshop at ASPS specifically tailored for our higher primary students. This workshop aimed to equip them with essential life skills that will empower them to make informed financial decisions in the future.
Engaging hands-on activities were integrated into Year 1-3 Maths lessons, allowing them to grasp smart ways of handling money. This initiative not only made learning about finances enjoyable but also laid the groundwork for a solid financial foundation from a young age.
The sun was shining, the air was crisp and the energy was palpable as our Year 1-2 champions gathered for a day of exciting and fun sports activities. Hopping, kicking, bouncing and throwing – they embraced each moment with infectious smiles and boundless energy!
Unlike traditional competitions, our sports day emphasised the importance of teamwork. The goal is for our students to learn valuable lessons of collaboration, communication, and the thrill of achieving a common goal. As they participated in various activities, the emphasis was on the joy of the game and the collective sense of accomplishment.
Sincere appreciation extends to all our dedicated staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make the sports day a memorable day for our students. Their unwavering commitment, meticulous planning and hard work were the driving forces behind the seamless execution of this event.
Equally deserving of praise are our amazing parents who came out in full force to cheer for their children. Your presence and encouragement added an extra layer of excitement to the event, reinforcing the idea that showing up truly matters.
We are pleased to announce the remarkable success of our students who participated in the Model United Nations (MUN) event hosted at Arab Unity School, focusing on COP28 – the 28th annual United Nations climate meeting. This three-day event brought together young minds to engage in constructive dialogue on critical issues surrounding climate change and sustainability.
Huge congratulations to our brilliant students from Secondary School:
