We recently conducted a fire drill at school with the support of the Dubai Civil Defense. Real firefighters and emergency response teams were on-site, ensuring that our drill mirrored the intensity and urgency of a real emergency.Â
This simulation provided our students and staff with a firsthand glimpse of what to expect in case of a real emergency.
After the drill, we have received feedback from the Dubai Civil Defense on our fire evacuation procedures and readiness for emergencies. We are happy to share that our evacuation team was deemed fully prepared to face crises and disasters, receiving a perfect score in all evaluation items!
At ASPS, safety is our top priority and drills like these ensure that our students and staff are well-prepared for any emergency situation.Â
We would like to extend our gratitude to our Operations Team for their support and guidance throughout this drill and a big thank you to all our students, teachers and staff for their cooperation.
The International Art Marathon represents a pioneering effort to mobilise creativity and solidarity, in response to the myriad challenges facing the world.
Started in 2023 with the 'We Can Change Climate Change' programme as part of Youth Creative Minds Hub and Funun Arts’ Annual Student Art Show. The innovative initiative now is a platform for people from all walks of life to come together with a single purpose; to heal the world.
For the year 2024-2025, the marathon welcomed 350 students from 10 schools in Dubai as official partners, with the guidance of 20 dedicated teachers and 25 appointed youth ambassadors from Funun Arts Group and Youth Creative Minds Hub.Â
We are proud to have our students be part of this transformative programme and with the hard work and support of our Head of Art, Ms. Sahar, our students have been able to shine brightly in this event. Their participation not only showcases their talent and creativity but also their dedication to making a meaningful impact on the world stage.Â
