Reading:
*Vocabulary
To find examples of figurative language and how this impacts the reader and contributes to meaning or mood.
*Inference
To make inferences about events, feelings, states backing these up with evidence
*Predict
To support predictions by using relevant evidence from the text.
*Explain

Recording data and results of increasing complexity using scientific diagrams and labels, classification keys, tables, scatter graphs, and bar and line graphs.
Planning different types of enquiries to answer questions including recognising and controlling variables where necessary.
