Sports Days for Years 3-9 (more information to follow)
EYFS End-of-Term celebration (Nursery to FS2)
As previously communicated, our school policy adheres to government announcements reported in the local media for public holidays, including National Day and Eid holidays. On Thursday, the government officially announced an update that 2nd, 3rd and 4th December (Saturday, Sunday and Monday) will be observed as public holidays.
The school will be closed during this period and will resume on Tuesday, 5th December.
We encourage you to stay informed about any further updates through local media channels.
Please note that, due to the announcement, our Key Stage 1 Sports Day will be moved to Term 2.
We have activities planned for all students, Nursery to Year 9, to celebrate the national identity, customs and traditions of the UAE. All students and staff are encouraged to dress in traditional clothes or UAE flag coloured clothes.
Parents are invited to celebrate this special occasion with us. We will provide comprehensive details of the programme schedule in the upcoming week.

Al Salam School grey school jackets are also available for purchase from the school. Parents may visit the school during school hours to check the jacket sizes.
Please note that only the official school jackets are permitted to be worn within the school premises. Our official school grey jackets are available for purchase directly from the school. The ASPS pullovers are available from the Sumeru store.
A friendly reminder: Please ensure to write your child's name on their school jacket. With so many similar items at school, jackets can easily get misplaced or lost. However, when a name is clearly labelled, lost items can be returned to their owner. Taking this small step can save you from the inconvenience of replacing a lost jacket.
At ASPS we recognise how Maths play a critical role in acing competitive exams. Beyond being a subject, it serves as an indispensable problem-solving tool, equipping our students with essential skills that pave the way for success in their academic journey and prepare them for the challenges of the future.
To facilitate Maths confidence, we have Mr. Neelakantha Bhanu, the World’s Fastest Human Calculator, presenting a workshop curated by him on 'How to become 4X faster and better in Maths' on the 29th of November.
Event Details:
Webinar - "How to become 4X faster and better in Maths"

Date: Wednesday 29th of November
Time: 6:30 PM -7:30 PM (UAE Time)
As you may be aware, Year 9 students now have the opportunity to perform Dhuhr salah at school. We would like to extend this for Year 8 students to participate as well, provided they have their own prayer mats.
If your child in Year 8 is interested in taking part, please ensure they bring their own prayer mat from Monday.
We invite you to participate in our reading survey to gain insights into your child's reading habits at home. Your valuable input will help us tailor our approach to foster a love for reading. The survey is available in both English and Arabic.
Thank you for your support!
