Announcement
Dear parents,
We would like to know more about your child and your family, and to celebrate the diversity we have in FS at Al Salam, we would like each child to create a ‘Chatterbox’ at home with you and then bring it to school by Monday, 18th of September for a ‘Show and Tell’ in class.
Please decorate a shoe box with your child in any way you like – be creative! Inside each box, we would like to ask for:
A photo of your family on vacation
The flag of your home country (this could be a picture of the flag)
A favourite toy/book/character of your child’s (please don’t send anything of value or sentimental importance)
We will be looking at each child’s special items together as a class and discussing all the things that make us unique.
