Week Nine: POV cont'd

Mon 3/25--NO HOMEWORK!

Tues 3/26--

• • Read "Invasion from Outer Space" (reader, 133-135).

  • Also, read "Orientation" under "Handouts" in the sidebar of your period's website.

  • Think about POV in both stories. Which do you find more interesting/effective? Why?

  • Also, add 3- 5 sentences to the collaborative story. Keep in mind the following guidelines:

    • Be familiar with the story. Know what happened before.

    • Always take the bid. Never say no, say, "Yes! And . . ."

    • Forward tilt.

    • You can add to whichever thread you want.

Thurs 3/28--There are two parts to tonight's homework:

• • Please fill out the worksheet attached below and paste it into your journal.

    • Worksheet wordcount: no min or max.

  • For your journal entry:

    • Take either an idea that came out of the worksheet or an idea that you already have for a story and freewrite on it.

    • Write on whatever you'd like!

    • Journal word count: 900 words.

Fri 3/29--Workshop Day.
