For Mon, 11/30—No Homework! Introduction to poetry in class.

For Tues, 12/1—Quiz on Chapter 9 of Vocabulary Energizers. Also, read about subjective complements (predicate nouns and predicate adjectives) in HGW (28-30 & 121); bring pink workbook (we will do pp. 35-38 in class).

For Wed, 12/2—Departmental work day.

For Thursday, 12/3—“First Death in Nova Scotia” (6) and “Base Details” (7). Please make sure to answer the questions (in full) below each poem.

For Fri, 12/4—Quiz on Vocabulary Ch. 10. Also do grammar review exercises in pink workbook (pp. 43-45).
