Weds 9/18, both blocks (L):

  • Please do a 600 word semi-freewrite in which you describe a time in your life you felt especially free.

      • Try to use as many of the senses as you can when describing this experience.

        • Imagine trying to bring the reader into the experience you're describing it.

        • In other words, try to be concrete and detailed in your description, not abstract.

      • By "semi-freewrite," I mean that this doesn't have to be a formal piece of writing; focus on conveying the experience to the reader as fully as possible.

        • At the same time, don't do a full word "vomit" onto the page. Make your description comprehensible.

      • If you don't have one good experience that comes to mind, you can describe two experiences, approx. one page (300 words) apiece

      • You can write more than 600 words, but not fewer.

      • This is not graded. Have fun with the assignment! :)
