        • Refer to my tips for writing an in-class essay on poetry here:poetry tips

              • enjambment

              • allusion

              • iambic pentameter

Tues 2/12 S:

    • Please review your two in-class essays on poetry and decide which one you'd like me to comment on and grade. Be ready to tell me during class.

    • Look on this site and find a poem you like. Type the poem out on a word doc (note: please don't just cut and paste the poem onto the doc; by typing it yourself, you'll get to know the poem better): https://www.poets.org/poetsorg/poems
