Week 6: Dialogue and Character
Mon 2/12--S: NO CLASS (English Dept PD Day)
Tues 2/13--S:
I noticed late Monday night that this assignment wasn't showing up properly on the the website. If you read your classmates' stories instead, no problem--just reverse the assignments and do the assignment you didn't do. My apologies!

This time, rather than focus on dialogue, focus on people's appearances:
clothes
gestures
bodies
and, especially, their faces

Please post your entry here: Journal Entry: Appearances
Weds 2/14 OR Thurs 2/15--L: Workshopping in class:
Read student stories (workshopping during class time)

Comment on what works/is successful in the piece.
Comment on questions you have--what you'd like clarification on, etc.
Remember to be encouraging, not harsh--these are early drafts!
