In pink workbook, please do the following exercises (note: we started some of these exercises in class):

DOs and IOs, p. 38
Predicate Adjectives and Predicate Nouns: p.41-42
The term used at the top of the page is subjective complement
But you should identify PAs (predicate adjectives) and PNs (predicate nouns)
Don't worry if you find these exercises hard. We'll review them carefully in class!
Note that "simple predicate" means the main verb of the sentence.
Bring pink workbook to class.
Note: Upcoming grammar test on 12/3 for Block F and 12/4 for Block C
Also: next Monday, I'll ask you which in-class essay you'd like me to grade and comment on. If it's helpful, you can meet with a writing coach on Friday or early next week (you can request an extension for your decision, in this case).
