Tues 5/19--There are two parts to tonight's assignment:

• • Please read: Francine Prose, excerpt from Reading Like a Writer (13-24, reader).

• Please go to Canvas (under "Discussions") for your written homework ("Practice for Final")

  • Bring in questions for Ms. K about writing, publishing, and creative writing programs.

    • Also! If you have time, please read one or both of the following:

      • Beginning of "The Accident" (This is the beginning of Ms. K's novel--really amazing!)

      • "No Mess Allowed" (This is an early short story of Ms. K's. It's a bit on the long side, but equally amazing--totally worth the read!)
