Mon 2/13--S: No homework
(But review Gatsby Chapter 1 if you feel like you've forgotten the details)
Tues 2/14--S: NO CLASS (English Dept professional development day)
Do phrase review exercises, p. 61 of Workbook.
For extra practice, check out the practice test and grammar review sheets below.
The practice test just shows you the format of the test (the actual test has many more questions)
I recommend you use the class time to review grammar and prepare for the grammar test on Friday. Don't forget that you can book an appointment with a writing coach (or, if one isn't available, ask a classmate who knows grammar well to help you review)
Weds 2/15--Common classroom (optional, but recommended): if you're feeling unsure about grammar, please go to CC today and get some grammar help!
Bring your practice sheets (see below) and pink workbook. You may or may not work on these particular sheets, but it's good to bring them.
Remember to sign up in advance!
