  • Please review the story from your group that will be workshopped today

    • Also, if you were absent on Friday, please make sure to write some comments on the stories that were workshopped then (make sure your comments are either appreciations or neutral questions).

  • Read and mark up Chapter 4, "Building Character: Characterization Part II" in Writing Fiction.

    • Skip the short stories and exercises at the end of the chapter.

    • Optional: bring in a brief passage that captures the essence of a favorite character from a beloved book.

Thurs 2/20 or Fri 2/21 (L): Revision of Story #1 due
