Week Three
Monday 9/10--Read Aristotle's Nichomachean_Ethics.pdf. Parts to read are as follows: Book 1.1-7 (15 pages).
On the response site, write three questions (close reading, discussion, and personal) that the reading has brought up for you.
Tuesday 9/11--Read Artistotle's Nichomachean_Ethics.pdf: Book 1.13 and Book II.1, 5, 6, 9. (12 pages).
Post three questions on the response site that pertain to the reading. I encourage the questions to address specific sections/issues that you don't understand.
Thursday 9/13--
Write a journal entry where you write about an interesting moral question that the reading has brought up for you. It might be academic or it might be personal. The journal site is only accessible to you and me.
Word count: 500 words.
Friday 9/14--Essay preparation. See class website for specific instructions under "Responses: Essay Prep #1."
Response needs to be 350 words minimum.
Monday 9/17--In-class essay on readings to this point.
