creative writing competition!

Hey York!!

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: The Stand is going to host our first ever York Creative Writing Competition! 

The theme is Winter Traditions. To participate in the competition, submit a short story or poem of 500 words or less that depicts your favourite winter holiday, celebration, or tradition. 

Submissions will be judged by The Stand's Creative Writing section editors: Matthew Adelberg and Chiara Di Lorenzo-Graham. 

To submit your work, insert the link into the Google Form attached to this email. Make sure link sharing is ON so that the editors can see it. Submissions will be judged on December 18th, and the top 3 finalists will be put up on the Stand for everyone to read!
